Integral Psychotherapy currently accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health and Neighborhood health insurance. However many clients choose not to use their insurance and pay directly, seeking reimbursement from their insurance companies if they so choose. For clients who do not have BCBC, United or Neighborhood insurance, it is strongly encouraged they access their out of network insurance benefits. Many clients receive reimbursements, especially if they have met their deductable. Most insurance panels support clients seeking experts. Integral Psychotherapy can provide you with a billing slip for each appointment that can then be submitted for reimbursement from your insurance company.
Most insurance plans will reimburse you for my services. If you plan to use insurance, please check your coverage carefully by asking your plan’s representative the following questions:
* Do I have mental health benefits?
* How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
* What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
* How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
* Is prior authorization required from my primary care physician?
The out-of-pocket fee for each 55min psychotherapy session is $130 and for a 90minute session it is $170. If you are a BCBS, United or Neighborhood client, you will be responsible at each visit for whatever co-pay your insurance plan has set up for you. For the convenience of both client and therapist, Integral Psychotherapy requests all payments for services to be processed electronically. Your billing information will be collected upon your first visit, and your credit/debit card will be charged after each of your subsequent appointments for as long as you are in treatment at Integral Psychotherapy. Alternative payment methods by cash and check may also be requested.
If you do not make it to your scheduled appointment, and you have not given at least 24 hours notice in advance (one full business day), you’ll be responsible for paying half your session fee.
